Scotch Tea’s

2 cups quick cooking oats
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter-melted

Mix all, and place in greased 8 in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. 20 is usually best. Recipe is good. It came from my mother-in-law Sylvia Plunkett.

  • 2 8 oz package of light Cream Cheese
  • 1 1 oz package Ranch flavored dressing mix

Blend well, then add

  • ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped Black Olives
  • 3 Green Onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup finely chopped Jalapeno Peppers

Spread on 4 10″ Flour Tortillas, roll up and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Cut and serve. DELICIOUS, CAN’T STOP WITH JUST ONE!

  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Peanut Butter
  • 6 oz Chocolate Chips
  • 14 oz package Crispix Cereal
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Melt butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips together over low heat. Cool slightly. Pour cereal in large bowl. Pour melted ingredients over cereal and mix well. Let set a few minutes. Put powdered sugar in a plastic bag, pour in cereal and shake well.

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Mazola Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 cups and 4 tbls Flour
  • 1 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

Mix ingredients in order given. Chill dough for 1 hour. Form dough into balls and flatten with tumbler. Use colored sugar or M&M’s to decorate for Christmas. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
