- 2 cups Sugar
- ¾ cup Cocoa
- ½ cup Shortening
- 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and add 1 cup boiling water. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Excellent cake and is very moist.
