1/4 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour 1 egg 3/4 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) 1/2 cup chocolate chips Cream butter, add 1/4 cup sugar. Mix well. Blend in 1/2 cup flour. Pack dogh over 9×9 square ungreased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Beat eggs, add remaining surar, beat well. Add vanilla, remaining flour, baking powder salt and nuts, mix and blend together well. Spread mixture evenly over baked layer. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut into squares while warm.Categories
