Recipe courtesy of Emeril Lagasse!!   (from recipes on Food Network.com)

Ingredients:
2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
Directions:  Combine all ingredients thoroughly.    If you want to make a larger batch, no problem, just double or triple this recipe, depending on how much you want to make.   Store in  ziploc baggies in airtight containers, or store in a seasoning shaker.

The secret to this recipe…….keep it simple!!
1 large onion, grated
Add 1 cup sugar and mix well.
Grate up a large head of cabbage.  Grate 1 carrot.    Add to the onion and sugar.
Add 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup oil, a little salt and pepper and 1/2 teaspoon celery seed.
Mix well and store in refrigerator.
Quick, simple and delicious!!

1 head lettuce
1 lb. hamburger
2 tomatoes, chopped and seeded
1 onion, chopped
1 8oz. pkg shredded cheddar cheese
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 pkg taco chips
1 can kidney beans (optional)
1 small can black olives (optional)
Dressing:  Mix 1/2 cup 1000 Island Dressing, 1/2 cup french dressing and 2 tablespoons taco sauce.
Brown hamburger, drain off excess grease.  add in your taco seasong mix and water.  Let cool.  In large bowl or cake pan; layer lettuce, hamburger, onion, tomato, beans, olives and cheese and repeat layers until done.
Mix the dressing and put on right before serving.  Also, crunch the taco chips and add right before serving as well.

1 stick oleo (or butter)
1 cup sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 can Hersheys chocolate syrup
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well.  Stir in syrup, flour and rest of ingredients.  Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 16 x 12 inch baking sheet.
Chocolate Chip Icing   (**Never Fail**)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
Put on low heat and bring to a good rolling boil.  Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup chocolate chips.  Beat until it thickens and spread on cake.
