1 pkg yellow cake mix 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple 1 can (20 oz) cherry pie filling 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (or pecans) 1 cup butter, melted Grease a 9×13 inch cake pan. Dump in undrained pineapple into cake pan. Dump in the pie filling, spread out evenly on bottom of cake pan. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit to cover it all. Melt the butter and drizzle over the top of the cake mix and add nuts on top as well. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. This quick and easy dessert can be changed up to your favorite types of fruit combinations of your choosing. Try some other combinations, they all turn out great! Serve this fun dessert with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!Submitted by: Colleen and Jeff Prentiss
1 cup sugar
2 squares bitter chocolate
1/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup milk
Place all ingredients in saucepan. Boil for 1 minute. cool and beat until you can spread on cake.

1/3 cup milk OR heavy cream 1/4 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 3/4 cuup opwdered sugar Boil first 3 ingredients for 1 minute. Then add powdered sugar. Beat to spreading consistency. Variant: reduce brown sugar to 1/2 cup, add 3/4 cup shredded coconut.
